The New Yankee Stadium |

On
his first day at the new Yankee Stadium, Yogi Berra came
away with the same impression as thousands of fans who
have already been there. "When we played at the old
ballpark, I thought that was big," Berra said. "This is
bigger."
Berra's early review of the $1.5 billion stadium was
largely positive. He was pleased to see that the Yankees
had incorporated many of the aspects of the 1923 Yankee
Stadium, "They've got the façade and everything up
there, it’s a beautiful ballpark. “ |
